Garden and Gather Terrarium Workshop

Enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the Beerded Lady in Garner while learning all about some awesome native plant species, moss and self sustaining ecosystems while creating your very own one-of a kind terrarium in a gorgeous glass vessel!

This class will teach you everything you need to know about some of my all time favorite native plants as well as how to create a miniature ecosystem to best suit their needs! Each ticket will cover one terrarium, and all supplies and materials will be included – your terrarium will feature a variety of local plants including a rare and elusive (ethically sourced) native jewel orchid, locally sourced moss and even some neat local rock specimens! This workshop is appropriate for all ages and skill levels, though some tweezers and a sense of adventure (and maybe patience) will definitely be involved! A selection of pre-made terrariums as well as some awesome botanical merchandise will also be available for purchase after the class.
